Hyolmo Social Service Center (HSSC) is a non-governmental, non-profit making social organization dedicated for the preservation of culture, tradition, and religion of Hyolmo Indigenous community. It gained legal status as a national level organization in 1994 AD in order to represent the community in Kathmandu and to function as an organized body that could address the social and cultural needs of the Hyolmo community. It is a membership based organization with total of 909+ house hold members as recorded to date. There are 27 executive working committee members and under this executive body different subcommittee formed in order to run organization smoothly. This organization is also committed in providing support for the preservation and development of Buddhism and traditional practices of Himalayan Buddhism.
